Approved Katha publishers receive 15 free credits on approval.
Chitra: Comics
1 credit = 1 standard page
Per target language. An 800x1280 page area is one unit. A 10-page episode into 2 languages costs 20 credits.
Approved Chitra publishers receive 15 free credits on approval.
Both formats draw from the same expansion credits pool. Paid plan credits renew monthly and do not roll over.

Credits power AI-assisted translation and editing tools. For Katha (novels), 1 credit covers 500 source words per target language. For Chitra (comics), 1 credit covers one standard page (800x1280 area) per target language. Both content types draw from the same credit pool.

Expansion Credits are for on-platform creators (Katha and Chitra publishers) who publish their stories persistently on Novira and want to translate their chapters. Translation Credits are for third-party or guest users using the standalone Novira Translate tool to translate, edit, and download external image files ephemerally. They operate on separate balance sheets and cannot be interchanged.

For the standalone translation tool, 1 translation credit translates 1 standard page (800x1280 pixels). Large images or tall vertical comic strips are measured by their total pixel area and billed proportionally. Translation credits never expire, and they are only consumed when a translation is successfully processed by the AI pipeline.

Yes. Creating an account, publishing stories, adding chapters or episodes, and using the creator dashboard costs nothing. Credits are only needed when you request translation into another language.

Credits included in a paid plan are added fresh at each billing cycle. Unused credits expire at the end of the month (they do not roll over). The 15 free credits granted to approved publishers (Katha or Chitra) are a one-time grant on approval and do not renew.

Yes. Cancel from your account settings whenever you like. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Payments are processed by the third-party checkout provider shown before purchase, such as Razorpay, Gumroad, or another supported provider depending on region and product availability. Novira does not store your card details.

Creator tips are planned but not live yet. We will enable them only after the payout flow is ready and clearly explained to both creators and readers.
